Six Apistogramma Cacatuoide "Super (quad) Red" have arrived!This video is a quick compilation of unpacking, acclimating and releasing them into their new home. Beautiful fish!What we did was acclimate them in the original bag to get the temps equalized and then we had to drip acclimate from the tank (1dGh, 7.0 pH) into the container of their water (4 dGh, 7.6 pH) for about 6 hours. I couldn't get their container to retain the heat, so we rebagged them and let them float to equalize temps again.
